Code of Conduct

Government Degree College, Santirbazar is governed by the Directorate of Higher Education , Govt. of Tripura. So all the rules and regulations are framed and governed by the Directorate of Higher Education. However, our college has own code of for its smooth functioning of the college. Govt. Degree College, Santirbazar make it a better institution by following these rules and Guidelines:-

• Proper and courteous behavior as part of professional, official decorum should be maintained as a mark of respect to all categories of employees.

• Students are expected to be always in college uniform with ID card issued by the College authority while in the College.

• Use of informal and casual forms of a dress, abusive and slang words by students , teachers and other employees of the college is strictly Prohibited.

• Shouting, screaming in loud voices or engaging in loud conversation or discussion while walking down the corridors during class hours is strictly forbidden.

• There should be complete silence in the Library.

• Use dustbins to dispose garbage and litter to keep the college clean.

• Keep your college clean and make it completely plastic free.

• Sitting inside the garden is strictly prohibited

• Eating inside the Library or any of the classrooms is strictly prohibited.

• College expects each member to be alert and vigilant and to report any misuse, damage or defacement of any item of college property including e-resources and college websites.

• The College expects its entire members to work in a spirit of co-operation and harmony for Excellency.

• Use of mobile phones in college premises during class hours and exam hours are strictly forbidden.

• Students are not allowed to bring in outsiders (those without formal invitation issued by the College) or to use the college premises and the college property to host parties to celebrate events.
